Transdermal Formulation Compounding
Using the latest research and topical vehicles of medication transport, we can effectively compound almost any medication into a gel that will be absorbed through skin. This method of medication delivery is ideal for those who have trouble swallowing pills, drinking medicated liquids, or self-injecting medication into the bloodstream. It also allows for the medication to bypass the stomach so as not to cause abdominal distress. This method is especially useful for pets, no more trying to shoot a liquid into their mouth or trying to force feed them capsules.
Veterinary Compounding
Getting an animal to take medication isn't always easy, but we can help with that! Many children have difficulty with conventional medication formulations. Most medications are studied as they relate to adults initially, and pediatric dosing is often figured out after a medication is released to market. Sometimes the dosing produced by the manufacturer is too high for a child who has a lower body mass than an adult. Children are also notoriously picky when it comes to what they eat and drink, and many have trouble swallowing pills. Our pediatric compounding service is especially effective for children as the dose is completely customizable along with the form, flavor, and color.
Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy Compounding
Those with menopause, andropause, hypothyroidism, and other such hormone dysfunctions may find relief with compounded hormone replacement therapies. We use only bio identical active ingredients for these compounds, which means these compounds are chemically identical to natural hormones your body produces on its own. Commercially manufactured products are chemically designed from other animal hormones that a human body may not recognize as well as bio identical hormones. As an added benefit, we can make these formulations as combination products; so if your prescriber wants you to take testosterone, progesterone, and estrogen, instead of taking three different medications we can combine them into one easy to use dosage form( e.g. capsules, gels, suppositories) in the hormone concentrations you need, not what "most" people need.
